Lateral Hip Pain
Hip pain can be a complex and frustrating issue—often affecting walking, sleeping, sitting, and even simple daily tasks. Common causes of hip pain are Gluteal Tendinopathy, Greater Trochanteric Pain Syndrome, Bursitis and Leg length differences. We take a whole-body approach to understanding what’s driving your pain, with a strong focus on biomechanics, movement habits, and muscular function.
We look at how your body moves as a system – utilising full postural and gait analysis, strength testing and pressure plate analysis to identify and treat the root cause, not just the symptoms.
A hip pain treatment plan may include customised progressive strength programs, custom orthotic therapy, footwear recommendations, education on load management and activity modification.
