What to Expect
What to Expect at your first appointment
It can be a bit daunting going somewhere new, so we aim to make the process as relaxed as possible.
Once your appointment is booked you will receive confirmation via text and email.
The email also contains a link to a medical history form to fill in prior to attending. If you do not have email, then you will be invited to arrive 10 minutes early to fill in a paper version.
Once arrived, you will be checked in and are welcome to a complementary drink, read some educational material or have a chat!
Your podiatrist will come and introduce themselves, and accompany you through to the treatment rooms. You are welcome to bring someone with you into the room. Please wear your usual shoes to the appointment.
Your first appointment includes:
- A conversation about your concerns
- Thorough assessment of your feet and lower limbs and footwear
- Clear, plain-English explanations and honest advice
- Tailored treatment and long-term care planning
- Written report and any referrals
- Large selection of beneficial products to help you progress right away
We focus on results that last and care that makes you feel safe and understood.
We encourage our patients to book follow-up appointments so that we can stay on top of problems and prevent them from getting out of hand. We also carry out an annual review after 12 months where we re-check your foot health and can monitor for changes early.
Please get in touch if you have any questions about our process, or accessing the clinic.
Finding Us
Our What 3 Words location is: scrubber.elbow.nipped
Postcode for Satnav: TA19 9FE
Please select our clinic as a destination, do not turn into Archie Gooch Pavillion.
The carpark is large and free, but does also serve the surgeries so it can be busy. It is best to allow a few extra minutes in case you need to wait for a space.
A warm welcome awaits you!
