Custom Foot Orthoses
Foot Orthoses (insoles) are in-shoe devices that facilitate a change in force distribution through the foot. They can be used as a short-medium term measure to help someone heal and recover from injury, or a long-term way of offloading a focal pressure point and preventing ulceration.
Our foot orthoses are all bespoke to the individual, taking into account a person’s activity, footwear, bodyweight, and goals.
The data we collect from the Footscan system is combined with our training and knowledge to formulate an individual prescription.
We can offer prescriptions for a range of lower limb conditions such as knee pain, ankle pain, achilles tendinopathy, heel pain and plantar fasciitis, neuroma, bunions and metatarsalgia.
We mainly use Phits+ devices which are 3D printed, very lightweight and incredibly durable. We also use a couple of other orthotic solutions so we can choose the device that is best matched to your problem, your goals, your footwear, and your lifestyle.
