Designed to help the foot manage abnormal loading patterns.
In contrast to simple cushioning insoles, functional devices are prescribed to facilitate the working of the foot as close as possible to its natural mechanics. They are not prescribed to simply support the foot but to encourage it to work in a more effective way.
Insoles can be prescribed for a set duration, to help an individual overcome an injury, or they may be recommended for permanent use.
Depending on a patient’s injury and needs, we can select from a range of semi-bespoke and fully bespoke devices.
