MSK and Sports Podiatry is an area that specialises in gait analysis, running injuries & lower limb injury management & prevention.
My passion for running led me to undertake firstly a BSc in Sports & Exercise Science, and then a BSc in Podiatry and also an MSc in Clinical Biomechanics! I feel it’s important to help the next generation love and understand biomechanics as much as me so I also part time lecture at Stafforshire University on the MSc programme. Research and evidence drives my clinical decision making.
In my down-time I love to run!! I have been a competitive runner for over 30 years, for both North Devon and Bristol & West Athletics Clubs on the track and road. I have competed at county, regional & national level, with a half marathon best of 1hr 13min.
